An Artistic Collaboration for All

August 21, 2018

Artica exists to inspire the people of St. Louis to celebrate and express their creative selves. Artica’s efforts culminate in our annual riverfront festival, and this collaboration with the St Lou Fringe is an action in perfect support of our mission.

This 2018 year, with the support of the Gateway Burners, Artica is empowering and funding about 15 artists to install and/or perform in Grand Center at the Arts Academy Plaza during the St Lou Fringe festival. We could not be more excited and honors to be a part of making this happen.

We look forward to the Fringe, and we hope you all also join us at Artica in October.

Every year, Artica collaborates with St Lou Fringe to add performative visual art to the Festival. Beginning on opening night and continuing through the end of the Festival, numerous artists are creating evolving works in the green space across from the .Zack. Additionally, the team from Artica once again brought the Tiny Totem Parade to Fringe Family Day -- check video of the parade on the St Lou Fringe facebook page, and make plans to attend Artica in October. The photos included with this post were taken Saturday, August 18, but the art and space continues to evolve.
